What is MAC steel

Magnesium Aluminium alloy Coating steel (MAC steel) PV Mounting Structure is a pre-plated steel with AI - Zn hot plating on both sides of the basal plate, i.e. the cold rolled steel plate of varied strengths and thicknesses. The coating composition contains 55 % AI, 43.5 % Zn and 1.5 % Si by mass, which combines the physical protection and high durability of AI and the electrochemical protection characteristics of Zn. In addition, the surface layer has a bright silver gray color with high decoration and regular patterns, and has a sense of relief.

Salt fog test 

The magnesium ( Mg ) component in the plating layer is conducive to promoting the formation of a very stable and well-organized fine protective film -simonkolleite(Zn5(OH)8Cl2 · H2O), which forms and maintains a film-like covering layer on the surface of the plating layer, thus exerting excellent corrosion resistance.

Because of the high hardness of the coating layer, the magnesium aluminum zinc plating has excellent damage resistance.

Usually, common hot-dip galvanized products cannot stand a temperature more than 230 ℃, and their color will change when the temperature reaches 250 ℃. However, Super Dyma can be used under 315 ℃ for a long time.

Super Dyma, with the reflectivity greater than 0.75, higher than 0.65 as stipulated by EPA Energy star, can reflect 2 times the heat and light common hot-dip galvanized products could reflect, an ideal  building material for energy saving. Being able to be used as an energy-saving roof and panel when unpainted, it is often used as a heat-insulating material.

Product description:
